Welcome! My name is Katalin and I am glad you are here.

I am a Hungarian language teacher and passionate about everything Hungarian.

The primary purpose of this website is to help you learn Hungarian.

On top of that, my number one personal goal is to inspire you. Language learning is nothing but a chore without feeling motivated.

On a more practical level, I am here to show you the nuts and bolts of studying Hungarian based on what worked for me and my students in the past.

I offer learning methods/tricks/exercises you can do online from the comfort of your home (or your office, I wont tell your boss, promise 🙂 ).

In my blog, I bring you interesting facts/stories/news about Hungary, the Hungarians and the language itself, of course. I do this so you don’t loose sight of the big picture and have some fun too when feeling lost in rules of conjugation, memorizing new words and phrases etc.

My vision is to see many-many people from all corners of the world learning Hungarian and feeling good about it.

Even if you don’t necesserally want to master the language, just get a peek into the culture and the people, you will find regular posts about Hungarian culture, history, news, fun facts and so on.
